Pilot Synopsis
Pix is trying to be an actor. They are also Non-binary and covered with tattoos soooo they’re having a hard time finding their footing. For the last few years, they have been working as a Birthday Party Clown to make ends meet. They paint faces, make balloons and do magic. Their best friend, Cleo, was just rejected for the millionth time and is desperate for a job. Pix begrudgingly asks their boss, Hugo, for a favor (this isn’t a guy you want to owe anything to) and he hire’s Cleo.
As Cleo shadow’s Pix, there is a tragedy at the final birthday party. It leaves the two friend’s scarred and unsure of if they can go back to the job. Their other friend’s Tommy and Sam have little to offer except to buy them a shot and heal their troubles with some laughs. They end up at Randy’s bar, as they usually do, hoping to ease their minds on what they witnessed and how they should proceed.

Why this pilot?
Why did I write this story? Who am I trying to reach?
This is a show for millennials. We were promised a world of stability that doesn’t exist. Rent keeps going up, minimum wage stays the same. Everyone I know works two jobs and still has roommates at 30.
Refusing to be a cog in a broken system forced me to go down interesting avenue’s for work. I’ve worked in restaurants, retail, as a clown, elf and yes, even a Dominatrix. I met interesting people and learned a lot about myself along the way.
I think people will identify with the struggle of wanting stability while striving for freedom. At the end of the day, this life is all we got and it’s ours to do what we please. It’s easy to forget that.
